The Employment Resource Network.Over the last few years we have been working on a network for the Birmingham Employment Resource Centres. This connects 25 sites using a variety of connection methods including 2MB/s leased lines, 2MB/s infra red laser free space links, a 2MB/s 26GHz radio link, 3MB/s spread spectrum and 2 155MB/s laser free space links. This network provides file and print services using NetWare 5, email and database services using Lotus Notes, internet access and hosting for their web site. A service level agreement was signed specifying the conditions the network would meet. This has been renewed this year (2003). Current Work |
